Welcome!

Welcome to the 2021-2022 year! I'm so pleased to be your child's teacher this year. We are going to have an excellent year. Last year was a year unlike no other and we have learned to adapt, pivot and be flexible! It looks like this year is beginning in the same way that we left off last year... but it's nice to see how far we have come since last September. 

We are all adapting and adjusting together and I will do everything I can to keep your child safe and give your child an engaging, meaningful, fun year.

I am married and I am the mom to two boys (age 11 and 13). In the summer, our family enjoys spending time on our boat fishing, playing on the beach and in the water, biking and playing tennis. We often travel to the Rockies to enjoy some hiking, climbing and fresh air. In the winter, our family is usually at the hockey rink or on the backyard rink. I love reading, playing piano, gardening and drinking coffee/tea/bubbly. 

This is my fourth year at WEJ and my 18th year with the OCDSB. I have a passion for teaching both language and math so I'm really excited to be focusing on these subjects. I am also a musician and music specialist and I will integrate this in appropriate capacities.
